Immigration lawyer on the Costa del Sol
Visas, residence and Spanish nationality for people who want to live on the Costa del Sol: retirees, remote workers, families and British residents. We choose the right route with you and prepare a careful file.
We are on the coast constantly and meet you in Marbella by appointment, or by video call while you are still at home.

The main routes to live here
Non-lucrative residence
To live on savings, a pension or investment income without working in Spain: €28,800 a year for the applicant in 2026, plus €7,200 for each family member.
Digital nomad visa
To work remotely for employers or clients outside Spain: €34,188 a year, about €2,849 a month in 12 payments, or €2,442 in 14.
Family members
Partners and relatives of Spanish or EU citizens can apply for a family member residence card.
Spanish nationality
10 years of legal residence as a general rule, 2 years for nationals of Ibero-American countries.
British on the Costa del Sol
If you lived in Spain before 2021, the Withdrawal Agreement protects your residence: we help with the TIE card, renewals, permanent residence and the effect of long absences.
If you are arriving now, you are treated like other non-EU citizens: 90 days in any 180-day period as a visitor, and a visa to stay longer. The non-lucrative and digital nomad routes are the most common choices.
Is there still a Golden Visa?
No. Spain stopped accepting new investor residence applications on 3 April 2025. Buying a villa in Marbella no longer grants residence, whatever its price. If a website still offers you a Golden Visa, ask in writing what law it relies on.
